I can't think of a post title today.

Quick food update - this week feels much easier than last week, hope it stays this way!

Monday-

Breakfast: Porridge with hazelnut & almond rice milk, dried dark cherries and lots of cinnamon - first time I've had this combination and absolutely loved it! Shame I used the last of the dark cherries and will have to wait until the next food shop for more!

Snack: Fresh(ish) strawberries

Lunch: 2 whole egg omelette with some skimmed milk and red leicester cheese - I did have a salad with me but didn't manage to eat it with lunch

Snack: Incredibly juicy pink lady apple - these are by far my favourite apples!

Dinner: Salad - spring onion, spinach and mixed leaves with chocolate orange balsamic vinegar and tomato salsa, followed by stir fried veg with purple sprouting broccoli, cooked with coconut oil and I used 1tbsp soy sauce and 1tsp fish sauce and garlic salt for some flavours! I've never had purple sprouting broccoli before so was quite excited to try it... didn't think it tasted all that different to be honest!



Snack: Cocoa Orange Nakd bar and a banana Maxitone Sculptress shake - love this! Tasted like those foam banana sweeties.





I also had a Vita Coco coconut water in there somewhere - very nice! I had the coconut and pineapple one and all I could think was how great a shot of rum would be in there :D

Drinks: Coffee with skimmed milk and coconut syrup and water oh and I had a little raspberry and pineapple smoothie which I made for breakfast to have this morning but there was too much to fit in my insulated cup thing.

Exercise: None - I'm off running until I get paid and can buy some proper running shoes as my knees are really sore! Hopefully I'll get some on Thursday after work and I can run on Friday morning.

Tuesday-

Breakfast: Starbucks grande skinny latte with an extra espresso shot and sugar free hazelnut syrup with cinnamon sprinkled on top - I needed something to get me going!

Snack: Half my breakfast smoothie - tinned pinapple (in natural juice) blended with frozen raspberries

Lunch: Smoked Haddock...something... it was the New Covent Garden Soup of the Month anyway! And it was very nice, bit mild tasting for my liking though!

Snack: The rest of my breakfast smoothie and a dried fruit and oat bar and when I got home I sat down and put my feet up (for 10 mins) with an amaretto flavoured coffee





Dinner: Portobello mushroom and grilled halloumi with Nando's sauce in a wholemeal pitta



Love this meal so much!

Snack: I was going to have some strawberries



They looked and smelled fantastic, but when I went to eat them I noticed the bottom two had gone mouldy :( so I had to throw them away, can't eat something when something mouldy has been touching it! So insted I had one of my boyfriends Cadbury Mini Eggs chocolate nest cake things.

And now I have a Maxitone Sculptress shake - half banana, half chocolate - tastes good.



I like taking pictures and I don't care if they are boring!
