Wow did I hurt when I got up this morning! Worst muscle ache I've ever had! Going down stairs was.... an experience!
And still I did it all over again today! Feels good though, well not the pain part but I feel pretty full of energy and pleased that I did it and worked through the pain!
Just going to do a quick post as I'm about to lie on the sofa and watch a DVD for the next hour and a half - Over Her Dead Body came throughy the post from Love Film today.
Last night after exercising I had a Nakd Cashew Cookie bar and dinner was jambalaya - I was too hungry to wait and take pics, but I assure you it looked the same as last time we cooked it :D
Another day that started with no coffee, it was easier this morning since I slept in and didn't have time to think about making coffee!
Breakfast was yogurt with blueberries and flaxseed and a cup of Re-Charge tea
After breakfast I snacked on some strawberries and almonds - almonds were a little too soft from being packed in the fridge with the berries but still really good, I haven't had just plain, raw almonds by themselves in such a long time. I used to think nuts were really bland unless salted or dry roasted and I hated anything other than peanut, cashews and pistachios - the others were always the boring nuts the grown ups ate ;)
Not very interesting lunch today, and I had forgot that I put garlic salt in it so it tasted really weird. You know when you are expecting a certain taste or texture then it's actually something really different and for a moment it's actually kind of disgusting?
Spring onion, grated carrot, mixed leaves, spinach, sesame seeds
I also had 3 whole eggs scrambled with some parma ham
This was very filling! I almost didn't have my snack in the afternoon but since I was heading home for a workout I thought I better had. Moroccan Humus (tastes like falafel!) and mange tout.
I didn't do very well for dinner, something about exercise makes me either completely starving or really not interested in food. Tonight I was not interested! I had half a mackerel fillet as I was preparing my lunch for tomorrow, some dried mango and a smoothie with rice milk, coconut milk, half a banana, 1tsp coconut butter, 1 tsp hazelnut butter, cinnamon and ice
And I'm out.
