I missed my spin class on Tuesday :( Accidentally booked the 7pm instead of the 5:30pm, so I didn't miss it really, I just got there too early! My automatic reaction was to turn and go home, then stay home, but I figured it would be a shame to waste the trip and just went to use the gym instead - did about 25 mins of intervals on the bike, treadmill then a few min on the cross trainer - I think I had used up all I had to give as I only last 4 mins on the cross trainer before feeling an awful lot like I was going to be sick on it! Had to grab an emergency Lucozade Sport on my way out to get me through the walk home.
I did make it to the Boxfit class on Monday though - that was great! My arm muscles actually still hurt and I was struggling to dress myself on Tuesday and Wednesday! I have to confess though that I did nearly pass out half way through the class and had to have a sit down for 5 minutes - how embarrassing! The girl I was partnered with and the class instructor were both really lovely though and didn't make me feel like a twat! And I did get back up and finish the class and was sure to give it my all! I'm pretty sure I was just hungry, it was quite a late class and I'm not used to waiting so late to exercise , I'm normally eating my dinner at that time.
Wednesday I was going to do full body weights but I was sore from the boxing, cycling and running so decided to switch days and make Wednesday a 'rest day'. I had the day off work because I had to wait for the guys to come and install Sky sometime between 8am and 5pm... they called before lunch to say they'd get here between 2pm and 5pm so I walked into town and had a bit of a wander for my days exercise.
For breakfast I made a Mocha Cherry Smoothie, based on the Chocolate Cherry Bomb from Kristen's Raw
I thought it would be nice to add a few chocolate covered coffee beans on top, looked a bit crap though.
For lunch I had half a Taste of Asian lunch pack thing from Marks & Spencers
Picked up a copy of Oxygen magazine too - this is my new addiction!
I only ate the bottom plate with the sushi rolls and salad, kept the rice, salmon and edamame beans for lunch today. My Mocha cherry smoothie was very filling!
Dinner was gorgeous! Smoked salmon and asparagus risotto! Didn't take a picture as I was to eager to eat it! So here is the salmon and asparagus risotto I made ages ago!
Sadly I didn't have any of the sweet potato fries in that picture.
I also had a lovely non-alcoholic mojito and pina colada and a Cashew Cookie Nakd bar. Then I went to bed and had a really great night's sleep, but did that annoying thing of falling back asleep after waking up then woke up half an hour later feeling tired and grumpy. And then had a really busy stressful day! I was so happy to get home and even happier to sell our old broken down dead car :D to celebrate we got a Chinese takeaway! I very rarely eat take away so it was a lovely treat! I had thai green curry and saved half for tomorrow.
I'm off to watch my Sky.
