Keeping things simple

I have a weekend away starting Thursday evening, I'll be visiting my dad and little sisters on Thursday evening/Friday morning then meeting up with some girlfriends for the weekend. This inevitably means my diet wont be too healthy and exercise will be minimal over the weekend! For some reason this made me decide to go easy this week and not stress about food so I'm not weighing things and logging all the calories but I'm still making an effort to keep portions small. I'm also going to relax with exercise a bit as I don't want this sore throat developing into a cold for the weekend, plus I'm tired from work anyway.

So keeping it simple with food I started today with a milky coffee, hot water with honey and lemon and a Berocca! Followed by breakfast of greek yogurt with cocoa, flax and berry mix and granola (mostly homemade but topped up with a little shop bought apple and cinnamon granola)





Small latte in place of a mid-morning snack.

Soup for lunch - chicken and orzo and some other things - shop bought Glorious soup and it really is a glorious alternative for when you can't be bothered to make your own!





And strawberries for my afternoon snack



Not sure what to have for dinner yet, but there's a good chance it will be prawn pad thai! :D
